Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W

The Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W is the wireless variant of the Pico 2 family, powered by the new Raspberry Pi RP2350A microcontroller. It adds 2.4GHz 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity while retaining the compact form factor and broad compatibility of the original Pico series.

At its core is the RP2350, Raspberry Pi’s next-generation, high-performance, and secure microcontroller, and the successor to the widely used RP2040. Compared to the original Raspberry Pi Pico, Pico 2 W delivers higher clock speeds, double the on-chip SRAM, double the on-board flash, more powerful Arm cores, optional RISC-V cores, enhanced security, and upgraded peripheral capabilities.

Despite these major improvements, the Pico 2 W maintains software compatibility, the same GPIO pinout, and a micro-USB connector for power and programming. This makes upgrading existing projects simple while continuing to use existing Pico add-ons, cables, and accessories.

Programmable in C/C++ and Python, and supported by extensive documentation, the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W is suitable for IoT, embedded systems, prototyping, education, and professional product development.
